Cookies

SINTEF uses cookies on https://prodrisk.sintef.energy.

These can be used for session management, log-in tracking, and to enable online transactions, the storage of user settings on websites and the computation of statistics linked to the use of individual websites.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Private data handling

Any private data uploaded by you or us will only be accessible for those you choose to share them with. These are typically case related files for issues and troubleshootings regarding the ProdRisk model, or project related files, in addition to data uploaded at the Lab. There should beclear indications as to who have access to files at certain areas on the portal. For instance, using the ticket system or the private forums, only your own colleagues at your company have access to the files and information shared. Similarly at the project sites, only the members of the project will have access to the files shared at the given project. Also, files used under your company folder or your own private workspace at the lab will remain accessible only to those with granted access, i.e. colleagues and SINTEF employees.

However, highly sensitive and critical data that you possess should be handled correspondingly and be avoided uploaded in the event of a data breach.
